1. Who we are

FuelPlay is a sports nutrition application operated by Marius Jonathan Wottrich, Copenhagen, Denmark. Contact: legal@fuelplay.app

2. What data we collect

When you create an account and use FuelPlay, we collect:

• Your email address (for account login)
• Profile information you provide: name, sport, position, age, weight, height, sex, dietary preferences, allergies, and food dislikes
• Daily nutrition logs: meals, caffeine intake, hydration, sleep, and energy level
• Training schedule and session data

3. Why we collect it

We use your data solely to provide the FuelPlay service:

• To calculate personalised nutrition targets based on your sport, body, and training load
• To show you a tailored meal plan and track your daily intake
• To remember your preferences and history across sessions

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS in Frankfurt, Germany — within the EU). Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. Transactional emails are sent via Resend.

5. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your personal data on the basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) — the data is necessary to provide the service you signed up for. Where you have provided sensitive health-related data (such as weight or allergies), we process it on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR).

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, email us at legal@fuelplay.app. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Cookies

FuelPlay uses a session cookie solely to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify registered users of any material changes by email.
